Letter to the editor: had been Bible teachings written long after or with ample time?

 

In her Dec. 25 column, "Love thy neighbor as thyself," Susan Knopf states, related to Jesus Christ and his teachings, "all of us recognize these items turned into written down long after the reality …" neatly, basically, in his first letter to the Corinthians, Paul writes that the resurrected Christ appeared to greater than 500 witnesses, most of whom were still alive at the time of his writing.

So, here's my question: Is that in fact long after the truth or well timed sufficient to be refuted through these eyewitnesses if it had been unfaithful?
