The governor gave the cost at a special church service to have a good time the birthday of the ordinary Overseer of Omega fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman, in Auchi, Edo, on Sunday, March 28, 2021.
He described Suleman as "a person getting used via God", and said that stories of his benevolence to Nigeria Correctional Centre, Auchi, via help and interventions, has shown his love for humanity which Jesus Christ represents.
"I met Suleman for the first time at a crusade in Agbor and from that day i realized the proven fact that God has a hand in his life.
"I thank God for what he's the usage of him (Suleman) to do internationally; he is despatched on a mission to humanity and to the realm.
"i do know that the church isn't constituted by way of the constructing or the crowd but by means of the physique of Christ, and from what I actually have considered here today, the Pastor is bringing the word of God to fact in many lives.
"i urge you, the Church, to continue to be prayerful in assist of your Senior Pastor, for any man of God this is rising, there must be challenges on the way.
"The Church is you, it be not the constructing; so i urge you as a Church to face effective in prayer for him and his family unit so that the evil ones don't have their manner towards his leadership," Okowa observed.
He instructed the people that Suleman had striven so passionately to win souls for Christ, adding that he has an immense followership in all places.
The governor, who marveled on the song and other amusement performances by some youths in the Church, thanked the Pastor for giving youths a platform to excel.
"As we continue to movement on, we have to do the things so as to attract youths to Christ, and that is precisely what we've viewed right here today.
"it be critical because if we don't do this, we start to lose them and might God not allow us to lose our youths," he brought.
earlier, the celebrant, Suleman, thanked God for giving him another opportunity to witness an additional year and pledged to do greater to evangelise for Christ.
He admonished all to eschew hatred because it does nobody and the nation any good.
