Christian summer time Camp Fires 18 year old Counselor for Being gay, because Jesus

A Washington state 18-yr ancient says the Christian summer season camp he loves fired him as a counselor as a result of he's homosexual.

Jace Taylor tells Q13 Fox that Firs Camps & Retreats informed him, "we do not assist homosexuality, and or not it's in opposition t the Bible."

Firs acknowledges the termination of Jace Taylor for his "sexuality."

"When it grew to be evident in the software method that [Taylor] didn't personally align with our statements of faith (in particular, one related to sexuality) we determined we could not use him during this position," Firs govt Director Tom Beaumont mentioned in a statement, including that Jace has labored at the camp before and is "well regularly occurring and loved."

Calling it a "catch 22 situation," Beaumont says in "order to be consistent to our beliefs and our mission we felt compelled to pass on a person we in fact appreciated."

Jace Taylor sees it slightly differently.

"at first i wished to bawl my eyes out because all of my lifestyles I've desired to work as a Fir Creek camp counselor and make an influence of their lives like they did when i used to be younger," Taylor mentioned. "They made me feel cherished, they made me suppose permitted peculiarly with the aid of God and Christ."
